The Diabetes Pharmacists Network Program is Ending

After eight years, the Diabetes Pharmacists Network program will be ending as of December 31, 2020. We are tremendously proud of the work we have done and the support of our community members. We encourage you to take a moment to read this article, which looks back on the many successes we have had.

DPN Leaves a Lasting Legacy

The most important part of our legacy is the privilege to have been able to empower and support pharmacists who exemplify best practices. We leave you with a quote from Maggie Cheung, a pharmacist owner and longtime member and supporter of the Network:

“I am so sad to hear that the BBDC is closing the program. As a certified diabetes educator and a pharmacist, the Diabetes Pharmacists Network connected me to practical knowledge and information that I can use in my practice and inspires me to provide the best care to my diabetes patients. The closing of this program is a great loss to pharmacists in Canada.”

We are honoured to have been able to work with all of you towards the goal of improving the lives of people with diabetes – our true legacy will be the continued delivery of quality care in your practice.
